THE CANTERBURY CENTER
The Canterbury Center, also known as Seaman Hall, is located on the corner of Avenue Y and 16th Street, just one block from the campus of Texas Tech University. All are welcome to participate in the life of our community. At the student center, we worship and a meal every Sunday. We also have a number of community events throughout the year, including various parties, social events, and liturgical events. The Canterbury Center is also a great place to pray, study, find a quiet place to relax, watch some TV, play some games, grab a snack, make a meal, drink some coffee, connect with friends, and build relationships.
THE COFFEE BISTRO
We are spreading the coffee love. Do you love (free) coffee? Do you love going to a place where you can hang out with your friends, relax, or study away from campus? Well, Canterbury is the place to be. Canterbury is open to ALL Canterburians who wish to have a free cup of coffee and a place to relax, study, or visit with friends. Help us stay green. Bring your own cups.
KEYS AND PARKING
After a student has been active at Canterbury for two months, the student will receive their own key so they can have access to the building twenty-four hours a day. There is also free parking for all active Canterbury students. To inquire about a key or a parking pass, contact the chaplain at ttucanterbury@gmail.com. For more information, read our handbook for our building use policy, our key policy, our alcohol policy, and our parking policy.
